A town house garden which experiments with a dry planting scheme planted into sand beds. By using sand the aim was to greatly reduce the water maintenance. This substrate aids with strong root development and water retention in the sub soil.
Italian Cyprus were a must in the client brief so irregular sized specimens were chosen to achieve a more organic composition similar to that seen when looking across the Tuscan hills.
